1. Who We Are
Bach & Joy ("we", "us", "our") provides luxury bachelorette planning and concierge services across Spain. For any question about this policy or your personal data, you can contact us at [email protected].
2. What Data We Collect
We collect personal data only when you actively provide it to us, or, if you give consent, through anonymised website analytics. We do not collect any personal data by default.
2.1 Enquiry Form
When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you enter: your name, email address, and any details you share about your group, dates, destination, budget, and message. This data is sent to us via Formspree, a third-party form processing service, and to our email inbox.
2.2 Website Analytics
If you accept cookies via our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website — pages viewed, time on site, general location, and device type. This data is anonymised and aggregated where possible. If you decline or do not respond to the cookie banner, no analytics data is collected.
3. Why We Process Your Data
We process your data for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you have requested (legal basis: performance of a contract / pre-contractual steps taken at your request).
- To understand and improve how our website is used (legal basis: your consent, given via the cookie banner).
4. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate our website and respond to enquiries:
- Formspree — processes and delivers contact form submissions.
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) — processes anonymised website usage data, only if you have consented to cookies.
These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where this occurs, it is done under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How Long We Keep Your Data
Enquiry form data is retained only for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and, where a booking proceeds, for the duration of our working relationship plus any period required by applicable law. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' default retention settings.
6. Your Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict how we process your data
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time (for example, by declining cookies)
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
